PSS Announcement from Far East to Mediterranean area

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company wishes to advise clients that the Peak Season Surcharge for all cargo from the Far East to Adriatic previously
scheduled from February 1st, until February 20, 2010. (BL date), is being extended until 31st of March 2010 as follows:

USD 100 per TEU ex South East Asia, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan
for cargo with destination to the Adriatic area.

Total container turnover at Rijeka port in year 2009

In year 2009 Port of Rijeka achieved total turnover of 122.700 TEU which is 28 percent downfall compared to year 2008, mostly because of the current economical and financial crises in the region.Within 2009 MSC has reached 39.000 TEU which is also less then what we achieved in 2008, however we are pleased to inform that by the end of year 2009 MSC has increased its total market share to 32 percent and retained the first position as leading carrier in Rijeka port.
